No wonder they lay down the cash to buy stallions. If they sent 600 mares per year to even a $10k stallion, you're talking $6 million in fees. Just cheaper to spend $30 mil on high-class stallion prospects

Does anyone know how much for and who bought the Sea The Stars x Ballroom foal? Also, any recent pictures of that one? The one in the catalogue seemed pretty old

Hip 405 colt was purchased by Tokyo Thoroughbred Club (owner Hidetoshi Yomamoto raced Casino Drive a fer years ago) for JPY 30,000,000 (US$ 294,118).
I may find a pick of his later.

Thanks so much tachyon! Thought the colt was pretty attractive, his hind was definitely taller than his front, he seems to be a foal who will develop pretty quickly, might be a nice pinhook though I'm sure the owners are more about racing.
