Idiots. It is amazing how people who can acquire (inherit?) huge amounts of money for these expensive animals are not bright enough to come up with a good name for a horse. The jockey club doesn't require the horse is named after the stallion or mare either. Just pick ANYTHING good.BaroqueAgain1 wrote:Dreaming of Anna's '11 COLT is named Fast ANNA? Just noticed this since I hadn't checked that VS email acct. in a few days. I followed this horse a couple of years ago when he started out. He had a hind end injury I think that kept him away all this time. He's 0-3 currently and has never hit the board, so he's not another Curlin, but curious to see how he comes back off the shelf. I know the connections had planned to retire him at one point, so good to see he recovered enough to try again.

I hope if he does come back that they put him on dirt. I'm surprised they did three in a row on poly.peeptoad wrote:ChampionCurlin wrote:Deputy Striker, full brother to Curlin, showed up on the worktab today at Los Alamitos going 4f in 50.4 on dirt. Well, he was stabled at Hollywood Park previously (since he was, or maybe still is, in Koriner's stable) and that had the synth most akin to dirt... he didn't show much in those 3 starts though. Flashed a bit of speed and then faded in all 3. Somehow I doubt he'd be ready for DMR anyway, but who knows... maybe he gets to try the SA (or Los Al) dirt next.ChampionCurlin wrote:I hope if he does come back that they put him on dirt. Coronation S (G1) winner Rizeena (Iffraaj-Serena's Storm) runs in the Falmouth S (G1) at Newmarket tomorrow. Should be a good race as last year's Coronation S (and 1,000 Guineas) winner Sky Lantern is also entered.

Hahahahaha... there was a 28-way shake today for Revealing Moment who won the 4th at Belmont. She's a full sister to yesterday's Delaware Handicap winner, Belle Gallantey.
