'Bobby is more handsome than I remember and seems in fine shape. Majestic Warrior, however, looks like he's been hitting the sweet feed a bit too much. And that butt? Are we sure that's not Majestic Dash For Cash?

But Majestic is 9, too old to still be growing, but way too young to already look like that. He is a beautiful individual, anyway.
The ground looks higher where his hind end is. Not a scientific method at all but I put a piece of paper at the bottom of my monitor screen and moved the picture so I could see the top of the grass and it was slightly higher than the front. Ashford seems to take most of their photos with that wall as the background, perhaps it is just an uneven area.
Might have to do with them breeding so many mares. Like 200+ a year with the Northern and Southern Hemisphere. They all kind of look like that- Giant's Causeway, Tale of the Cat, Thunder Gulch especially look bad.

Uncle Mo really has a high hip, and I would consider him a sprinter/miler type in build.
Regarding the high number of mares bred by some of the Ashford studs...why would that cause the fat cat build on many of them? Are you saying they need the extra fat to keep them eager to 'go,' no matter how many mares they are asked to impregnate? ;) :P

Went back to Argentina in Feb or so- was third in the America G2(in March), and just saw that he was 6th on the 21st in a non-graded stakes called the Japon at Palermo. He is one handsome hunk of horse.

Yep- just checked the FB page- and that's what was posted. Hoping for a good result.

ETA:
Just checked the entries- he is going in what they call a "Clasico" race- 1 mile on the turf- thinking this is one step below graded- race came up light, only 4 other runners- so perhaps a confidence builder for him.

Ahh, that's what I was picking up on, thank you! I stared at his photo for a solid five minutes, just boggled by how familiar and striking he looked. I love me some Easy Goer/Alydar.
Not a wholesome trottin' race, no, but a race where they sit down right on the horse!
Like to see some stuck-up jockey boy sittin' on Dan Patch? Make your blood boil? Well, I should say!

He looks a lot like Easy Goer (matching butts!), but finer boned.
Both are/were so handsome.

I think Majestic Warrior might get that look from his sire. AP Indy is not only a chunker but has that sway back look.
