I WAS going to add, "now only a two year wait for his first start!" But I figured I'd let someone else make that crack ;)

HOPEFULLY.... he's not fragile, and matures faster... I do wonder if Ebby is made of glass. She's sidelined an awful lot.

I'm surprised he's already at Belmont, to be honest.

I wonder if Jess's Dream (Taco) and Union Jackson (Chilli) are already at racetracks too. Also, curious as to which trainer Stonestreet will use, Rachel had Assmussen but obviously that may not be the best option right now :? I can see them turning to Pletcher though I'd like someone like Bill Mott.

...why? He's trained all of the Moss's big stakes winners including zenyatta... I think if they had sent coz to anyone else everyone would be suspiciously wondering why.

Primarily because I think he's about the most overrated trainer in the US. And it would be nice to see the colt actually race once in a while.

Why is he overrated? I'm actually asking, I've never heard anyone claim that he's soo amazing or anything. He's a good trainer who has trained some good horses that won big races. That's more than most trainers can say. He seems like a nice enough guy too. I don't think there's anything wrong with prioritizing a horse's soundness over anything else.

I don't think anyone else does either. I do, however, think that Shirreffs (who is a very nice guy) is so extremely conservative that he goes a bit too far in that direction. Mott, Mandella, and others like that take care of their horses, but you actually get to see the horses race.
