I get the impression that Sea The Stars is turning out to be a pretty good sire. Kewl.

Well, it's the Italian Derby today (Derby Italiano) and it looks like Sea The Stars has 2 runners!
Sopran Nicolo (o/o Sopran Londa (Danehill))
Dark Sea (o/o Drifa (Hamas))
The Derby Italiano is the most valuable race in Italy and I think it is an Italian classic, not entirely sure though.
Goes off at 5:15 British Time.

Rizeena has scratched. That helps My Titania's chances if she does run.carole wrote:I hope the ground doesn't come up too soft for her!ThreeMustangs wrote:As expected, My Titania has been entered in the Irish 1,000 Guineas on Sunday.

Sea The Stars could have a BIG day on Sunday! As well as My Titania in the Irish 1,000 Guineas (GI), the undefeated Vazira is going for the Prix Saint Alary (GI)!ThreeMustangs wrote:Rizeena has scratched. Dang it, not again!
MY TITANIA became the second leading fancy to be ruled out of Sunday's Etihad Airways Irish 1,000 Guineas in three days after trainer John Oxx decided she would not run due to the soft ground.
Clive Brittain had been forced to scratch Rizeena from the Classic on Thursday morning after she was found to have a trickle of blood coming from her nose and the filly who headed the market will also now miss the race.
Heavy appeared in the going description by the time Kingman won the Irish 2,000 Guineas on Saturday, some time after Oxx had said: "In view of the recent rain and the official going description at the Curragh now being soft, it is highly unlikely that My Titania will run in the 1,000 Guineas."

Wonderstruck won a maiden at Newmarket (July course) comfortably today! In the race was $2.4 million Hydrogen who placed 6th. Royal Ascot is next on the cards for this half sis to George Washington and Grandera!
Also, this Sunday, Shamkiyr will try to win the French Derby for STS! He won a maiden about a month ago by an awesome 8 lengths!
