I hope so- or he can hang out in my back yard so I can just look at him.

Never forget seeing him at Belmont Park on a rainy day. As he walked out onto the track, the sun can out for a minute or two, hitting him. He was so black, he looked blue in that light, was one of the most stunning things I have ever witnessed. Almost wish his son Roses in May was still here in the US rather than Japan, but they are taking such good care of him, I really cant complain too much.

I was at Margaux back in May and they told us then that he was pensioned. Didn't sound like there were any plans for him to move. He was out in his paddock, enjoying himself, but he came over for a treat.

Great news - thanks... I always hope they'll get to stay, especially when they've been in the same place for so long...

I wish him all the best. I will always feel fate handed Hansen a rough deal....generally being mishandled by the ever self-promoting Dr. Hansen. And now,
going from Ashford Stud to South Korea. He could have progressed into a good 7 furlong-mile specialist had his owner not been stricken by Derby and media fever.

anyone want to guess Bernardini's 2014 fee? I am saying 60,000... In my opinion, still too much, but I think Sheikh Mohammed may have a bit of a bruised pride if they dropped it a full 100k

That's a bigger jump than I was expecting, but Claiborne shouldn't have any trouble filling his book.

Claiborne is usually very conservative on stud fees, so I was surprised he went up that high as well. He certainly earned it though. Number 5 on the general sire list with not even half of the runners that the stallions above him have. Malibu Moon has 250 runners and War Front has 118, but they are only 500k apart in progeny earnings.
