FINALLY! They put her back on the all weather at Keeneland. She ran so well here in the Ashland Stakes.
Robby is back on her too. The field doesn't look to be that tough, this years Ashland winner is in the race, but... I don't think she is as talented as her her stablemate Close Hatches, Princess and Beholder.

I think she likes the track. She had a bullet work there back in the spring 4 furlongs in 46 and change; fastest of 62. And she scored her highest speed figure ever there when she ran in the Ashland stakes. There is an article about the race on Bloodhorse.com and I think it mentioned every horse in the race except her. It's like she's invisible. I would love to see her break through and win a G1

Because the owner is a stronach investment fund that had a business plan outlined in a prospectus that stated the plan was to purchase yearlings, race them through their 3 year season then look to sell them.

Ah, okay, thanks. Seemed odd to me to put a horse up for sale just when he starts to win, but I understand the "plan" now.

Late Charge will be going in the Caulfield Guineas at Caulfield on Saturday (Friday night here in the States) I believe this is the first time that Hard Spun foal has gone in a G1 in Australia.
