I think we probably had a narrow escape of "Cozmic Too."
Haha, I think that would be too derivative for the Mosses. I actually liked the "Zclipse" name someone else mentioned, but Ziconic is kinda growing on me. I would have barfed at "Zenny's Dream," or anything of that ilk. :)

Not a huge fan of either of the names, but as long as they aren't Zendini or Zapit I can't really complain

I think Zapit would have been kind of cute, actually.

So with Z in every name is the new baby going to be named Z'Easter Bunny if it is born on Easter Sunday?

Or how about 'Zor'Easter,' a play on Nor'Easter, the fierce storms of the Eastern seaboard?

Does it have to have a "Z" in its name? Did all of Secretariat's kids have "S" names??? At least if they are going to be using Z, use it in a real word, with proper spelling!!!

 I just got the idea in my head that the race calls with those names will sound like someone with a bad German accent is calling them. "And on zee outside there iz Zeeconic".

I'm bemused by all the griping concerning the use of "Z" in the names of Zenyatta's foals, or all of Kitten's Joy's "Kittens."
This is not a new practice. Alluding to the sire and/or dam's name is a well-established tradition, whether in horse breeding or pedigreed dogs and cats. And Norwegians.
How many Storm Cat offspring had "Cat" or "Storm" in their names? How about all the "Indy's" and "Slew's?" Or the "Native's" and "Dancer's?" Before that, I seem to remember "War" showing up in the names of Man O'War offspring.
Just sayin.'

Outstanding! A filly to carry on the tail female line (assuming this new little one lives a full, healthy life). Congrats to mom Zenyatta and all her human connections.

Quite so...and all the "Secrets" by Secretariat, as in Lady's Secret. :D

just because it's a thing everyone does or is tradition doesn't make it fun or interesting.
