RIP Bertrando.
He was a helluva racehorse, I still can't believe that Arcangues beat him! Bertrando was a very solid sire, a pretty special horse. I loved that they took such great care of him to the end, deserving of a true champion.

Just heard about Bertrando. Brilliant runner, fine sire, and carried the blood of my first childhood fave, T.V. Lark. I'm feeling older. Every day.
I ran marathons. I saw the Taj Mahal by Moonlight. I drove Highway 1 in a convertible. I petted Zenyatta.

Maxios is as handsome as they come and a very fluid and pretty mover.

I hope he gets some good mares.

Yes, he was there 'til Hughes got Spendthrift renovated and opened the stallion complex.
