Saratoga Fall Mixed and HORA sale October 7th

Some interesting pedigrees. Darley has quite a few of colts/geldings in the sale.

93 - Brave The Storm, 1996 mare (Storm Cat - Brave Raj)
166 - Hemiosseu, 2008 mare (Smarty Jones - Wheatly Way) half to G1SW Bevo, G3 Moonlight Sonata(who is the dam of Wilburn) in foal to Bluegrass Cat
251 - Three Streets, 2010 c. (Street Cry - Allez Les Trois) half to Anabaa Blue, etc, dam is 1/2 to Urban Sea, King's Best, etc. Has only made 2 starts

Advertisements for this sale should be printed up at Kinkos and stapled to telephone polls across NY. It's the Darley Garage Sale.

Anyone looking to kill time should go through the hips of all the Darley entries and tally up the purchase prices of the ones they bought at auction, then track what they sell for. Stunning.

Could've gotten more by selling him on CANTER.

True, but I am sure the owners didn't care if he went for 2K, 10K, or 20K. There were a number of horses which would make nice show prospects at that sale.
