You knew that already, though, didn't you? I mean, not that he is "beautiful," but the rest?

After I posted it, it occurred to me it didn't sound exactly new. But honestly, I'm so scattered and stressed these days . . . I can't remember what I remember. Argh.

As you will some day learn, the aging brain is a sad, sad thing. ;-)

My memory's not so sharp. It's one reason I love the forum search feature.

From Darby Dan:

Oatsee, a two-time Grade 1 producer and the 2011 Broodmare of the Year, gave birth to a filly from the first crop of champion Frankel early Thursday, March 27th at John Phillips’ Darby Dan Farm in Lexington, KY.

Bred by My Meadowview LLC, the chestnut filly was born around 3:30 am sporting a big white blaze on her head, and she represents one of the few American-based foals born to date by the popular undefeated European champion Frankel.

Was Oatsee already in the UK when she went to Frankel, or was she flown over just for her date with Frankel? I assume the latter, but wanted to be sure. These US based Frankel foals are EXPENSIVE already!

Dibenoise's Galileo filly is beautiful, but I sure hope her front legs straighten out soon.
