Hard Divorce won a maiden race on the all weather surface at Wolverhampton in GB.

Very exciting finish. Looked like a nose but chart calls it a short head.

Melancolia broke her maiden in race #1 at Donald in Australia. Led pretty much the whole way and pulled away at the end to win by about 3 lengths. Her record is now 2-1-0-1. Her first race was last April, so she was coming off a long break.

Easter Gift entered into the Kelso on Super Saturday, but he is a coupled entry with Jackson Bend. So we'll see if both go or not.

Free As A Bird was 3rd in the Jazzy Stakes at Belmont Park today. She led for the first half mile and these were her splits: :23.29, :45.92. Perhaps a little too fast that second quarter but the whole race was pretty fast. Final time was 1:20.81 for the seven furlongs.

Hardest Core is entered into Keeneland for the Breeding Stock sale. Hoping he goes to the Jamaica on Sat (he is nominated) as I think the longer the distance the better.

He is entered as a Racing/stallion prospect I guess it's who buys him. Wouldn't be surprised if he becomes an out though.

Well Hardest Core is entered for Saturday... just not in the Jamaica. He's going against older in an allowance on the undercard at Belmont. For what it's worth the Jamaica did come up tough.

Robby is back on her too. The field doesn't look to be that tough, this years Ashland winner is in the race, but... I don't think she is as talented as her her stablemate Close Hatches, Princess and Beholder.
