Not Billy Dee, that's for sure.
Sorry to go off topic. I just had to laugh when I read your post so I wanted to chime in with an answer.

He does look tall, doesn't he? I like the way his body is put together, from what I can see in that photo. Nice hindquarters...looks like he may have gotten his mom's engine.

I think the miniature horse in the first photo is Little Silver Charm from Old Friends--he's always had a crush on Zenyatta and still has her picture over his door. (At least he did last spring.)
I ran marathons. I saw the Taj Mahal by Moonlight. I drove Highway 1 in a convertible. I petted Zenyatta.

New photos and video of Coz in training. I'm curious to what you more experienced people think of him now that we have a good look at him?

I don't claim any particular expertise because it's been a very long time since I was around horses daily. But I've seen a lot of horses in my 60+ years. So on that basis, to my eye Coz is a very good-looking youngster. He's not flashy, obviously, but is well balanced and compact (not rangy or long behind the saddle), and seems to have no significant conformation faults. He does have a bit of a prominent wither, which can indicate a shoulder that isn't as laid back as some might consider ideal. But he seems to move nicely, with a smooth trot and easy canter. When he stood under tack with rider up, his legs were nice and straight both front and rear. His musculature appears to be that of a stayer rather than a sprinter. Also, the black-and-white head study of Coz reminds me of horses from an earlier era, particularly the great Kelso.amfuller wrote:New photos and video of Coz in training. Others here might be better judges of qualities like bone and scope.
What I like most about what we've seen of Coz so far is his calm, easy-going temperament.
