Wednesday evening at Fairplex, Roundupthelute (Midnight Lute x. In Secure by AP INdy) broke his maiden very nicely in a minor stakes. He's a half to Millionreasonswhy, the graded SW filly who died in a training accident at Saratoga (I think) about a year ago. On pedigree query it says she was buried whole on the farm "with a basket of treats."
I ran marathons. I saw the Taj Mahal by Moonlight. I drove Highway 1 in a convertible. I petted Zenyatta.

They really loved that filly and were devastated.
Once upon a time there was a horse named Kelso.

I'll be sure to follow Roundupthelute as followed Millionreasonswhy. It was such a tragedy to lose her. I think she was frightened by some deer and went through the railing.
