Agreed. He’s a nice looking horse, and I hope he puts in another good year next year!

Steel Valley Sprint: Epic Ride sitting on big race in second start since layoff
https://www.drf.com/news/steel-valley-s ... art-layoff
Even without Book'em Danno, this is a nice field. Epic Ride is grade I-placed, World Record is a grade II winner at the Spa, five-time stakes winner Valentine's Candy and the comebacking Glengarry.

https://www.drf.com/news/bahamian-moon- ... r-may-2023Nutella Fella back in training
Nutella Fella, the 2023 Grade 1 Hopeful winner, is on the comeback trail.
Nutella Fella had his fourth workout of the fall last Saturday at Tampa Bay Downs, going a half-mile in 50 seconds. That was his second work at Tampa, which followed a pair of workouts at Saratoga, moves that trainer Gary Contessa called pedestrian.
“His first work at Tampa he went 37 and one, out in 48, 1:02 and 2,” Contessa said. “The other day he went a half in 50, out in 1:02 and 1:14 and 4. He’s doing really, really well.”
Nutella Fella, who won the Hopeful at odds of 54-1, suffered an ankle injury preparing for the Champagne in 2023. In his only start this year, Nutella Fella finished third on June 8 at Saratoga in the Grade 1 Woody Stephens, 1 3/4 lengths behind Book’em Danno. He emerged from that race with a re-aggravation of the ankle injury, which Contessa termed bone-bruising.
The first sprint stakes at Tampa in 2025 is the $125,000 Pelican on Feb. 8, but Contessa wasn’t committing to making that.
“I don’t want to feel like I’m pointing to a race,” Contessa said. “My goal for the year is to make him one of the top sprinters in the country.”

Would be fun if he could stay in one piece. I was dubious about the Woody Stephens placement, but he didn’t embarrass himself there after a huge layoff.Starine wrote: ↑Tue Nov 26, 2024 9:22 pmhttps://www.drf.com/news/bahamian-moon- ... r-may-2023Nutella Fella back in training

It also added excitement to the game when his owner wrote an op ed complaining that his Hopeful Beyer was too low.

Really happy for him-love this hard-trying gray son of Arrogate who has really blossomed under Brittany’s care when moved to the East coast. Wonder what’s next for him? Maybe a freshening then a big 4 yo season!Starine wrote: ↑Sat Nov 30, 2024 11:09 pmWinterfell gets the right setup, comes from last to take City of LaurelCoronadosQuest wrote: ↑Sat Nov 30, 2024 6:11 pm Winterfell [Arrogate x Forest Fashion by Forest Wildcat] is now a stakes winner after winning the City of Laurel Stakes and 3 for 3 for Brittany Russell.
