G1W Broome (Australia x Sweepstake by Acclamation) standing his 2nd season at Çelikoğlu Stud in Turkey in 2025. Not the best angle for a proper conformation photo but it's the one they're using.

I LOVE that photo of Broome. What a pretty boy.
Someone here thought that Galileo's have unattractive heads, but imho, his offspring usually have refined, attractive heads. Like Broome. ;)

He looks really pretty. Kinda strikes me as a welsh pony or arabian, but not in a bad way. What a guy.

He was a really tough racehorse, ran in eight countries over 6 seasons and his full brother Lonsdale and 3/4 brother Diego Velazquez are still racking up graded stakes wins. Really nice purchase by Çelikoğlu. He's one of the guest stallions at Karacabey (one of the Turkish Jockey Club stud farms) this year so he'll have even more opportunities from mare owners.

Arabian Knight seems really upright. Was he bought as a 2yo when he showed he could run despite the flaw? But he obviously didn't hold up. Pass.
I ran marathons. I saw the Taj Mahal by Moonlight. I drove Highway 1 in a convertible. I petted Zenyatta.

Yes he was bought as a 2yo. Zedan almost exclusively only buys 2yos, I think the Beholder colt was the first yearling he purchased, though he did pick up a couple this year.

Stallion not owned by the Turkish Jockey Club itself, but standing at one of their stud farms for the season.

He seems like a great horse. I'm not too familiar with anything outside the US so it's always interesting to expand my views.
