Maybe it’s the angle of his head, but he seems a bit underweightAkitaperson wrote: ↑Mon Nov 18, 2024 10:42 am Classic Empire, recent photo and a short clip

The angle doesn't help. But so many coolmore stallions are fat or obese it's easy to see why someone would think he's thin. Plus some horses seem to lose weight when they get hurt

Senor Buscador will have two more starts - the Cigar Mile (G1) and the Pegasus World Cup (G1) - before retiring to a Kentucky Farm next year.

Might be a hard keeper? Wasn’t he a bit of a nutcase on the track?Eohippus wrote: ↑Mon Nov 18, 2024 11:04 amMaybe it’s the angle of his head, but he seems a bit underweightAkitaperson wrote: ↑Mon Nov 18, 2024 10:42 am Classic Empire, recent photo and a short clip

Also, he looks healthy compared to some of the fat boys elsewhere.

26 year old Volpini
Now this guy I don't think he's doing great, but he's old so who knows what kind of health issues he may have going on

Feels a bit late in the game to still not have a deal done, interested to see who takes him. I would guess Mill Ridge or War Horse PlaceMylute wrote: ↑Mon Nov 18, 2024 11:44 am Senor Buscador will have two more starts - the Cigar Mile (G1) and the Pegasus World Cup (G1) - before retiring to a Kentucky Farm next year.

They seem to appreciate the Tiznow line more than we do.

Ugh, because we know how well that usually works out. George Washington and Battle of Midway come to mind.

I don't think it's fair when people throw BoM into the equation because he was actually successful when he returned; it just happened to coincide during that period in which Santa Anita was experiencing a rash of fatalities.
I don't think it had anything to do with his being retired to stud for one season.

Interesting note in that article:
Two infertile Tapit's with the same trainer. What are the odds?Endrigo provides a striking fact: “Before buying Tapit It to Win, we had made an offer for Enforceable, another Tapit that Casse was caring for, but it was not accepted. The horse ended up in Peru and was also infertile… I made an offer for an infertile horse and ended up buying another infertile horse. It seems to me that I don’t have to buy stallions, it’s not the same,” the breeder says with humour.
