Fillyfillybangbang was euthanized on the track after breaking down and falling in the 2nd at Indiana Downs. Classy Little Lady who fell over her seems to be okay. Lonnie Meche who was on the fallen horse I know did sustain injuries but I believe is expected to make a full recovery. Lindy Gott walked away without injury.

Sorry to hear this. I saw Buzzonkey race in my only visit to Parx this year- back in mid June. He was a brave
horse who tried hard, but struggled in all of his races, and sadly, never got a win. Condolences to Mr. Campbell,
who was his owner and trainer. It has to be just heartbreaking.

RIP Buzzonkey, (Buzzards Bay - Rosey Glow) 6 - 0-0-0, $1910

Rest well, boy...

RIP, good boy. They kept putting you in races that were just a bit too fast for you. And then in June you "stopped abruptly", in your second July race you "stopped", in August you were fractious, and in September you broke down. With a nonremarkable race result (always outrun) in May and in your first July race.

He looked spectacular, and very self assured. King of the hill, and he knows it.

The jockey did a good job of helping Buzzonkey when she pulled him up. Pretty sad looking at his lifetime results and seeing him breakdown like that. He's resting peacefully now.

Southern California Thoroughbred Rescue lost their beloved Bam Bam (Sunday Match) today to sudden and severe colic -- diagnosed by the vet as a full torsion.

Bam Bam was 8 and had been with SCTR since he was rescued at age 3. Many very sad hearts tonight.

So sorry. I'm glad he had some years of being well-loved with SCTR.

Condolences to all at SCTR. They do such a wonderful job by their rescues. At least Bam Bam had five years of the good life with them, and knew he was loved.
