Ruffian body double?

I'm not sure where to put this, but I feel like it might fit here nicely. I heard some rumors around that Ruffian had a 'body double' who would stand in for her for paparazzi photos while she was resting, but I can't seem to find any sources that back this up (newspapers, etc.). I heard it might've been the gelding named Loud, who was born in 1967, but I also don't have any sources to back this up, and I've heard conflicting info from different places. If anyone knows the info would be super appreciated ! :-)

Yeah they say that in the book, Ruffian : Burning From The Start.
