Dramatic made her delayed debut today at Dundalk and finished 11th. Takemetothemoon, an Uncle Mo half-sister to City of Troy, was also in the race and finished 5th.The race was won by Ethical Code, by Justify out of G1W Damson.

Songbird's filly Rumours Have It had her first Gate work this morning. Based on training habits if he feels that she is fit enough she'll have one more gate work next week then debut.

I was catching up on my French replays (as one does on a Wednesday night) and noticed an Aga Khan colt named Azimpour winning on debut at Longchamp over 1m1f a few weeks ago. He is out of Azmiyna, which makes him half to Champion racehorse and top young Australian sire The Autumn Sun.

Battle of Normandy (City of Light) won the River City S (G3T) yesterday at Churchill while Cugino (Twirling Candy) was 2nd in the Hill Prince S (G3T) at AQ. They are both out of the Kitten's Joy mare, Adorable Miss. And in a continuing decrease in degrees of separation, they are both trained by Shug (West Point).

Tamara (Bolt d'Oro x Beholder) is nearing a return to the races. Supposedly before December 1, per Richard Mandella.
Mandella had hoped to run Tamara in an allowance race Nov. 10 at Del Mar but it failed to fill. So, instead he put another work into her on Friday and she rang-up a bullet in 1:01.20. He says he'll look for another race at Del Mar for his prize filly knowing he has plenty of opportunities to run her at the seaside oval before the meet ends on Dec. 1.

Im sorry, but since when is 1:01 a bullet? Get that it was the fastest at the distance, out of 4 horses, but normally a bullet is 59, 58.

She's entered in race 7 at 11/15 on DM, AOC. M Smith in the irons and breaking from the first post. One other 3y/o filly, the rest are older. Good luck to her!

Desert Adventure, from a family the powerhouse Godolphin operation has had success with recently, makes her debut in the sixth race, a $120,000 maiden special weight for 2-year-old fillies. Looks like Tamara was 2nd by a head or so to the other 3 year old filly in the field, Sandy Bottom (Omaha Beach).
