I doubt coolmore is going to let one of only 2 living triple crown winners go to Japan.

If anything there’s more chance they move him down to Australia full time where he’s getting G-1s winners down there.

Don't hold your breath on that, Magnier will have final say and 250+ mares bred and the corrosponding stud fees will no doubt trump keeping him running another year. What if he went another 4 or 5 races without a win? That's not gonna increase his stud fee....

If they were planning on retiring him, you would hope that they would include him in the roster they specifically waited until after the Breeder’s Cup to release. Is there still time for him to stub a toe and require 4 weeks off therefore he won’t be ready for the 2025 Breeder’s Cup? Of course.

No one is more surprised by the not immediate retirement than me. Again, Auguste Rodin has not increased his value by racing at four, so I couldn’t blame them for taking the easy option.

It just seems like if they had planned on retiring him, today wouldve been the day to announce it.

i like to think we wouldn't send one of two living TC winners, and the first of them at that, out of the country.

American Pharoah once stood stud for $200k. To see him dip that low is totally deja vu to how Fusaichi Pegasus did for their farm. I wouldn't be surprised, if he goes the same route. I think FuPeg was at $150k and went down to $7,500 before he passed.

Ten Sovereigns did shuttled down to New Zealand for only one season at Valachi Downs but then the stud owner decided to sell the stud farm.If he is coming back to NZ I wonder what stud farm will have him.
