Yeah too bad no one likes them anymore, besides Candy Ride. I'm assuming Candy Ride's book was limited as he is 25 and bred 74 mares in 2024. I agree with you about the rest but I put The Factor and Union Rags on my list this year because breeders don't use them. Guess they decided to stand Mineshaft another year, Farish had mentioned possibly pensioning him because he too is 25.

Because that is what every farm does? Stallions don't just get pensioned to get pensioned. They get pensioned because they have bad fertility, have a physical issue that makes them unable to cover mares or they aren't getting mares. Freud who was just pensioned, is the ONLY stallion that I've ever seen or read about that was pensioned because they decided he deserved to be pensioned.
