Riddler was creamed out of the gate. People are still complaining there was no inquiry. People are saying the jockey didn't complain because he didn't want to piss off Steve asmussen who trained the horse responsible for the bumping.

Kathari has retired also. Is at Kentucky equine adoption center

Honestly if ANYBODY should have lodged an inquiry, it should have been the #6. Even the chart says "wiped out at start" for the 6 so not sure why Rafael didnt lodge an inquiry. We just got pushed over to the rail but the 6, got completely knocked out and squished into the 5 horse

Straight no chaser loves Santa anita. That was a dominating win in the sprint championship and people are talking about how he may join seize the Grey in being breeders cup bound

I don't see why he wouldn't!
I ran marathons. I saw the Taj Mahal by Moonlight. I drove Highway 1 in a convertible. I petted Zenyatta.

Caldera is still looking promising with his first 5f work today, 1:00.40 (2/15)

Someone asked if he was being pointed to the BC Juve so a bit concerned that owners have way too high of expectations but it is what it is.

The owners expectations probably aren't helped by the fact that the horse hasn't even run yet and Lukas is already talking about pointing the colt to the 2025 triple crown. In a recent caldera workout report, mrh announced that Lukas called Michael behrens and was like you did it again and was very high on the horse.

But yes people do have unreasonable expectations with several already predicting caldera will be a better runner than seize the Grey

Regarding caldera..mrh has basically said you never know how the horse will actually do until they start running but never the less it's exciting that Lukas is this excited about the horse so early on

Former MRH horse Legitify (IRE) easily goes gate to wire in the 2nd at SA going a mile on the dirt. Funny considering people were calling for his retirement and felt bad for him because he was going a mile after sprints at Los A.

MRH Australia's Just Fine is headed to the Melbourne Cup(G1) after a win in Lexus Bart Cummings(G3). Australian racing is a mystery to me. I try to follow along a bit, but between the rating/handicap system and the entry/acceptance system, I'm generally lost.

It was a $16,000 claimer (I think he was claimed away from MRH for $50K) but it was nice to see him hang on at a mile. I'll always remember this pretty boy fondly.

Simply Enchanting ran third in her race today. MRH has already mentioned that for some reason she didn't put in a 100% effort today and they'll work with Phil d'amato to figure out why. Still hasn't stopped people from complaining simply Enchanting sucks, she's just not that good and it's time to retire her and breed her..funnily enough these are the same people just weeks prior to this race who were calling for simply Enchanting to run in stakes races

Given that Peter Miller is the one training legitify and given Peter miller's history and his extensive record. I can't help but be highly suspicious of this sudden magical improvement

Sweet Voyage is almost ready to make her 2nd start. Mrh is considering two race options and both are maiden claimers at the 50k level. Mrh seems pretty confident that nobody will claim her since she ran eighth last out. But they've thought that before and been wrong so we will see

Looks like he is sitting on a big race provided he ships well and likes the DM surface ( and avoids a speed duel up front). But I hope he goes to the front he is most effective there.

Sweet as Sin finally broke his maiden yesterday at horseshoe indy on his seventh try. I don't have him in my stable but his owners must feel some relief he finally put things together and figured it out.
