Oh he probably does know better. But does he care? Doubt it. Not the first time, this year alone, his favorite in a big race has looked like that.

I think Muth has not lived up to his reputation. His walk did look strange---Essential Quality wrote: ↑Sun Sep 29, 2024 3:00 amOh he probably does know better. But does he care? Doubt it. Not the first time, this year alone, his favorite in a big race has looked like that.

In DRF, Baffert said it was back to the drawing board for Muth. I personally hope he returns as a 4yo with NysosPsychotic Parakeet wrote: ↑Sat Sep 28, 2024 11:12 pmThere is a video of him in the saddling area on Twitter. He looked dull and walking awkwardly like he was sore.CoronadosQuest wrote: ↑Sat Sep 28, 2024 7:52 pm Wonder what happened to Muth in the California Crown? He looked like he was making a bid on the far turn and then JJ stopped riding him and he just started to drop back. He finished the race though, from what I saw.

I wouldn't be surprised if he gets retired after that effort because he is a Good Magic colt, and Zedan wants to recoup some money in the breeding shed.

Strong run by Carson's Run, and this son of Cupid adds to his sire's decent record. Cupid is standing in Maryland atm, but I wonder if he may earn a move to someplace like Kentucky. At least he didn't get sold out of the country.

I doubt Cupid moves back to Kentucky off just Carson's Run, but he's a sneaker stallion for sure. I hope he becomes a regional leader where he is nowBaroqueAgain1 wrote: ↑Sat Oct 05, 2024 2:39 pm Strong run by Carson's Run, and this son of Cupid adds to his sire's decent record. If he hadn’t already gotten a fair shake in Kentucky, I would say maybe he’d move. But I don’t know if any of the big farms would be cutting in line to take him back. Maryland deserves a nice regional stallion.

With the prominence Maryland used to have in the game, I agree!

I was just wondering what happened to Eagles Flight. He must be as fragile as his brother.stelladaniella wrote: ↑Fri Oct 11, 2024 9:22 am Tamara, Eagle's Flight and Nysos back on the work tab.

Locked is entered to make his comeback at Keeneland on the 19th in the G-3 Perryville Stakes. Tough tough spot to come back with West Saratoga, Knightsbridge and Book’em Danno all in.

Mirahmadi, who looked fair to go down as one of the biggest money-burners in history after failing four times as the favorite, breaks his maiden by about 10 lengths in start # 9. Looked like a totally different horse from the one who has always either hung or faded. Maybe they began leaving the emasculator laying around his stall.
I ran marathons. I saw the Taj Mahal by Moonlight. I drove Highway 1 in a convertible. I petted Zenyatta.

I thought maybe the announcer was going to give it a Secretariat type call down the stretch but he only won by 10.Diver52 wrote: ↑Sat Oct 12, 2024 7:56 pm Mirahmadi, who looked fair to go down as one of the biggest money-burners in history after failing four times as the favorite, breaks his maiden by about 10 lengths in start # 9. I've found it easier to tear up tickets at 8/1 instead of 8/5.

Glad to see he finally won Interestingly enough, that was only his second attempt at Santa Anita with his first being a 2nd in a stakes race. Maybe he really dislikes Del MarDiver52 wrote: ↑Sat Oct 12, 2024 7:56 pm Mirahmadi, who looked fair to go down as one of the biggest money-burners in history after failing four times as the favorite, breaks his maiden by about 10 lengths in start # 9.
