Havent heard if there were any casualties or injuries but lots of horse trailers and RVs flipped over based on what I’ve seen on instagram.
i was thinking about WEC. they have the structure to withstand what they'll get hit with, right??
Ocala is getting hit with bands, but I don’t know how strong the winds are there. Given Florida is hurricane territory, I’d hope they’d build the WEC to the highest standard.

All of their structures are hurricane rated, and they open up their barns to anyone with animals during hurricane scares, so hopefully they’ll be fine. I do worry about such large structures tornadoes though.

All we got in Delray Beach is strong winds, fortunately - so all is good. How about you?

Apparently Milton moved very quickly and is now out to sea - which is a blessing

Hope you guys are all well and safe!

All fine here. I have a brother and cousins in more heavily affected areas, but they're also ok.

We FINALLY got our power back about 30 min ago. It was out a little over 5 days. A/C is a wonderful thing.

My racehorse sent out an update yesterday that all of their Florida based horses are SAFE and made it through Milton safe and sound. They said that the barns at the various tracks and training farms in Florida are designed to withstand hurricane force winds
