Amazing, how some of these jock's ride. It's mind boggling. If they don't want to ride with effort due to a cheaper race purse, then politely refuse the mount. Absolutely a sad thing to watch when you see that kind of non-sense. It's not fair to the owners and/or trainer involved with the horse. Some of these pin heads need to understand, this may be the only horse that owner owns or trainer trains, so anything they get for them is important. Really sad, if this isn't the sport for you to ride to the best of your ability, find another sport. Take pride when you ride for someone, give them all you have and ride like you actually care and want to be out there, not with a halfcocked effort.

I’ve never bet that track. Sounds like the key is to figure out whose turn it is each race.
