Sister Lou Ann Tries for Repeat in $500K One Dreamer
https://www.bloodhorse.com/horse-racing ... ne-dreamer

This will be a good race. I won't lie, it's a bit sobering to see only "Kenneth Ramsey" listed as the owner of Ramsey Farm horses. Honestly I hope she repeats.

A sentimental choice for me, Queen Regent (Roaring Lion x Common Knowledge), won the 6th at Kentucky Downs, a 1 5/16-mile Allowance for F&M 3yo+up (with a purse of $190,000!).
It was tragic that we lost Roaring Lion, perhaps Kitten's Joy's finest son, so soon. It's gratifying to see a daughter of his win here on the challenging KD course. Beautiful dark grey filly.

I hate that we lost Roaring Lion so young. Thanks for sharing the update on his daughter.

Full Count Felicia (War Front x Claire de Lune [Galileo]) just pulled a Presious Passion in the G1 E.P. Taylor at Woodbine. Charged off to lead by what looked like a furlong, and still held on to win by a couple lengths. Moira was 2nd.
FCF showed her Galileo stamina for this 10-furlong race. Cool.

Moira still ran her race, but that’s a lot to do when you are a closer!

That was a fun race. She lead by something like 20 lengths at one point. And they still couldn't catch her.

Adare Manor has been retired- no reason given- thought she was aiming for the BC Distaff. To be sold at the Nov breeding stock sale.

Its cause she tied up before the Pacific Classic. It takes time to come back from that, depending on the damage done by the tying up. She tied up after the workout and was still tied up the next day. She hasn't worked since then. They ran out of time and were planning on selling her this fall.

Disappointed to hear AM has been retired, the Distaff was looking tough. Oh well.

Sounds like she’s a gentle giant, she had a good career.

Baffert alluded as to her physical condition and as Flanders said it’s not a reach to conclude it’s related to her tying up and missing the Pacific Classic.

Let's all go together and submit a bid, kind of a MRH type of thing limited to Kurenai's forum ;)
I've found it easier to tear up tickets at 8/1 instead of 8/5.

I think that will only get us the mane and tail. Sounds like a sweet mare though. If My HRF wants a place to keep her, feed and clean up after her, she can be turned out with my 2 QH geldings. I’ll pretty her up next spring and the neighbor kid can use her for 4H.

Her first foal would be by Tapit, and named A Dare It.

Test (G1) winner Ways and Means dominated the Gallant Bloom on a wet track. Onto the F & M Sprint.
