Prat probably could have won more money staying at Kentucky Down for a couple of maiden races but it's got to be nice to have a G1 with a 2YO and something to look forward to.

My guess is that someday this Del Mar Futurity will be renamed, I don't think Churchill can stop that from happening :)
I've found it easier to tear up tickets at 8/1 instead of 8/5.

The race had a 2018 look to it with Gaming playing the part of his sire. I put my requisite $2. on him. He looks good going forward.

Rumor has it that had GGF not went under, they were contemplating renaming the Alcatraz after a certain trainer.

Mitty's Griddy (Mitole) just flew past the leaders to win from last to first in the 5th at Churchill Downs.

Going to go out on a limb and say Showcase is off for the rest of the year, no longer on Pletchers website. Disappointing he looked like a special colt for his owners so far.

Where on the website would he be listed? I don’t see a section for Roster

Go to the workout page and hit the "all horses" part and it drops down to a list of every single horse he has in his barns.

Showcase last worked September 5th, so maybe he just hasn't worked yet. Doesn't mean he is off for the year?

No, that can’t be. One of the horses I follow last worked on 9/5 as well, and he’s listed. I also checked a few other horses listed under “all horses” and they also haven’t worked between 9/7 and 9/14 (which are the dates the site shows for workouts)

But I think if he were off for the rest of the year, it would have been reported already

The website is updated everyday. Horses who are still at a track but haven't worked stay on there for Weeks, example Illuminare who missed a couple weekends works but worked this morning never came off. Kingsbarns was off the morning that they announced he was retired. If hes not on the website he's not in Todd's care at any track.

I don’t get it.. I never says Showcase didn’t work on 9/5. I said that I follow a Todd horse who worked last on 9/5, and he’s listed under “all horses”. So Showcase not having worked since 9/5 can’t be the reason he’s not showing under “all horses”

Oh, it sounded like you were saying you didn't believe he could have worked on 9/5. Anyway, who knows. He was pointing to the Champagne as his next start so I guess we shall see.

Oh no, sorry if I was unclear!

Maybe it was just to give Showcase a few weeks off at the farm?

La Cara won the Pochohantas by about 3/4 of a length

She’s the 3rd GSW two year old out of a Bernardini mare, 2 of which are G1 winners

Jonathan's Way (Vekoma) wins the G3 Iroquois Stakes over Owen Almighty, who closed nicely to grab 2nd. Giacoso was 3rd.

Handsome Pants (Daredevil) looked really good breaking his maiden on debut going 8.5f on dirt in the 11th at Churchill Downs. Trained by McPeek and ridden by Brian Hernandez Jr

Now there’s a memorable name!

Being a son of Daredevil is a bonus.
