Looking at her pic I don't see anything glaringly wrong with her. That hip # is fairly late in the sale, which makes me wonder if there is something wrong with her, if she had something going on when they sent out the inspectors that rate the horses to assign catalog numbers, or if its the lighter page(no G1s/G2s). If she does have some issue under 100k, if its she had something going on maybe 300k. Most of his are in the first 4 sessions where the big prices are. Then you have her out there in session 8. He had a colt sell in session 8 last year for 40k and a filly in session 7 for 10k(she was horrid looking though, clubbed foot or DSLD).Essential Quality wrote: ↑Fri Sep 06, 2024 4:42 am Any bets on how much Hip 2622 is gonna go for? A Justify filly out of a Fastnet Rocket mare, Same cross Storm Boy, Learning to Fly, Star of Justice, Just Steel (I wish they would have put that horse on the turf instead of breaking him down), I know American breeders don't fully go for Turf pedigree or Horses but That could be a nice one on the turf if she stays over here with the right people.
Rarely a big price will come out of a late session but the Session 8 topper is usually around 300k. A Twirling Candy colt did sale for 925k from that session last year but that was a rare exception. Also not saying good horses can't come out of the later sessions, they certainly can. Authentic came out of that session in 2018 and Midnight Bisou RNA'd in an even later session.
