That and colic. It sounds like her laminitis came on hard and fast due to that milk fever.

Prudenzia (Dansili), dam of G1Ws Magic Wand and Chicquita, had the sale topper at Arqana August today when her filly by St. Mark’s Basilica sold for €1.7 million to Coolmore. The filly is her SEVENTH seven-figure yearling to sell at Arqana August.

Unfortunately now news that the foal has also died. So very sad. RIP.

Surprised that after STG’s success they wouldn’t go back to the UBS line such as Liam’s Map or even Archangelo

she was probably booked and bred before his big wins. her last foal was born in February.

She was a fantastic racemare. I need to revisit some of her battles with Havre de Grace.
