So they retired him and he lived out his life at Cardiff Stud until he had to be put down at 20.

For a gelding, it’s only money. I know he probably would've fallen into the Ballydoyle middle distance horse model where he runs till 6 or 7 before getting a couple seasons at Coolmore proper or Coolmore National Hunt before getting moved along. Or getting sold overseas as soon as he retires from racing.
But being that Montjeu had died in 2012 and Camelot almost won a triple crown in the same year, I would like to think that SNA would've gotten a fair chance to be a good stallion. He might have excelled as an older horse, but he was a G1 winner as a juvenile, and was once the favourite for the Derby before getting injured and being out for a year.
Its quite rare that a stallion is sold on before their first crop races, let alone is even born. They must have gotten a big amount for him. He was fairly popular, I had to look how many mares he got and it was 147. This was before 200+ mares became common, so that was a good size book.
