Geezus…I just don’t get it. Breeders hated Honor Code that bad ? Or Did they forget how talented HAP was? Far less talented horses have been bred to fsr more mares.

I’m so upset and angry that HAP is being iced out by breeders, and that even Lanes End can’t help him

I almost wish he’d be sold to Japan …but not really, lol. It would break my heart, but HAP deserves better

The stallions that get alot of mares are usually the only first year, established or super hype horses that have a strong syndicate backing them. The other 2nd-4th year stallions are out in the cold and have to earn their place the hard way. Its really feast or famine.

He has had early success with his 2yos, if that can transition into SWs then he'll definitely get more mares next year. Brunanas is putting the list together but every stallion I put on my who is going to move list at Lane's End got less than HAP.

Yeah, you’re right - and I shouldn’t be surprised because obviously he hadn’t had any runners by the time breeding season ended. And as you say, he didn’t go down…

I’ve always had faith in him, so I just need to wait it out. He’s going to have to earn it. Thank you for pointing out that most stallions have to earn their way…and TBH, if HAP succeeds all in his own, I’m going to feel a great deal of satisfaction.
