As an aside, the Searings (who own Medoro) are splitting their stable - they’ve got a bunch of babies in KY with Peter Eurton. They still have some horses with Shirreffs, but eventually they will mostly be in KY

Idiomatic really had to work for it today as Soul of an Angel and her hit the wire together in the Molly Pitcher but she held on to win by a nose. Surprised as Idiomatic set some really slow fractions. I think the first quarter was in 25 seconds

Idiomatic won the G3 Molly Pitcher at Monmounth, but I am just glad she finished the race alive. Frelling Irad steered his mount into her on the turn and nearly put Idiomatic through the rail.

Yeah...I was a HUGE Farscape fan. I also throw in 'fracking' for variety.

Without hurting anyone else or a horse, he needs to have what he does done to him. Maybe he should bounce off the rail. I wouldn’t want him on my horse, using it as a weapon.BaroqueAgain1 wrote: ↑Sat Jul 20, 2024 2:32 pm Idiomatic won the G3 Molly Pitcher at Monmounth, but I am just glad she finished the race alive. Thorpedo Anna wins the G1 CCAO easily over Candied. Intricate was 3rd. Travers next?

That handsome filly apparently has no competition within her own division, so....?
I'd enjoy seeing her run in the Travers, but I would let McPeek decide whether she is ready for that strenuous challenge.

In the upcoming Shuvee Stakes at Saratoga, Misty Veil (Tonalist) is racing for the last time...because she is in foal. And she was in foal the last time she ran...and she won.
ETA: Raging Sea (Curlin) won, Shotgun Hottie 2nd and Misty Veil 3rd.

Here’s something you don’t see every day in the US: 3f Sun Kissed Soirée (MDO) made her debut at 12f…and won.

Just watched Justique lose another race. I have followed her-- she is just beautiful and always seemed to have potential
unfulfilled- maybe it is time to make her a mommy!!! I just always feel bad when she loses- today she wound up last or close to last.
