He was a half brother to Speightstown and was really a handsome boy in his own right.
Came here to say Irap. He may have been the one to finally establish a Tiznow sire line (since so many of his get exported), if only because he also happened to be Speightstown's half brother.

Also Midnight Bourbon.

I think Performer might have had a chance of being a decent sire.

Cigar being infertile was the biggest disappointment. I wonder what he could of produced.

Cigar, Dubai Millennium, Roaring Lion, Arrogate.

I know he was clearly a star stallion with 8 crops of foals on the ground, but I still can't grasp how much more of a breedshaper Scat Daddy could have been if he had lived past 11. He covered mares for $35,000 in 2015. His fee had been bumped to $100,000 for 2016, but he died in December of 2015. To think of what he could've done had he gotten top mares, top Coolmore mares, we'll never know. He could sire winners over 5f on turf or 12f on dirt off of a stud fee ranging from $10,000 at its lowest to $35,000 at its highest.

I second Scat Daddy, I can’t believe I didn’t think of him earlier.

I wish Delta Prince had made it to stud, especially since Street Cry really only wound up with a couple of sons in Kentucky and now it's only one, since Street Boss stayed in Australia a couple of years ago. Plus, Royal Delta died young and only left one foal.

He was literally the first one i thought of when i saw this topic, then i immediately forgot him once i started typing. That was such a good family, and he was a pretty nice racehorse. Assuming he wouldve ended up at Hill n Dale with the other Adena stallions, he couldve gotten a real chance.

This one really hurt. I truly thought he would carry on Bernardini's legacy

This is how I feel about War Emblem too! He was SO GOOD with the few mares that he actually bred with. If he actually liked breeding, imagine what he could have done as a sire.

I'm extremely disappointed we'll never see how Cave Rock compared to his sire

At least the farm he was at in Japan gave him every chance possible before tensioning him. But it is a shame he wasn't thrilled with breeding and I'm mainly looking at it from the view of pedigree. Given he carried the godolphin line through man o war.

Bernardini’s legacy is going to be as a great BMS, so he does have a huge legacy. I love him so much, but he’s not a good sire of sires. It was crushing that he died so young, but I didn’t think he was going to be all that successful

I've been having power issues for 2 out of the past 3 days and yesterday I was busy. A lot I would have been said already. Maybe these were said

Rock Fall
Shergar
Duramente
Vindication
Electrocutionist
Itsallgreektome (I know the chances that a 12f turf horse would be successful is slim but I really liked him. He had to be gelded after being injured badly while being cast in his stall)
Lure (just bad fertility, he got some nice runners from the small amount he did sire)
Eillo
Stephan's Odyssey
Grand Canyon (the Fappiano's were such good sires)

Speaking of:
Fappiano (died at 13)
Unbridled (died at 14)
Pioneerof The Nile (died at 13)

He was the Champion Turf Horse of 1990 and a lovely grey. If I remember right (this was alongtime ago), he got injured in like December 92. He broke his withers and the vet said he wouldn't ever be able to cover mares. they tried to bring him back to the races in 94 but he wasn't anywhere near the same horse. So they retired him and he lived out his life at Cardiff Stud until he had to be put down at 20.

I added some more horses to my list after you replied. hahaha
