Highland Falls (Curlin) debuts in the 7th at Ellis next Saturday. The 3YO colt is the last foal from Round Pond, as she didn't get i/f again. It was subsequently noted she has been pensioned. Provisional (Justify) also debuts there. He's a 1/2 brother to Arrogate.

Highland Falls won. Provisional was a well-beaten 7th.

Provisional ran yesterday at EP and finished 7th again. It was his first start since the race above.

This must be wonderful news for the Northern Farm Mixed Sale.
And it's amazing that Kitasan Black(JPN) can sire a brilliant sprinter as well as classic distance horses.

Good grief! I'm surprised he wasn't a scratch after rearing and bolting out of sight like that.
Gold Ship nearly killed stall handlers when being loaded for a big race at Meydan, so I really hope this colt gets over his behavior and is NOT like that bad-tempered grey.
Not OK to be that dangerous around other horses or people.

Let's hope that his trainer Yoshito Yahagi will work harder to set him right.
