New plan:
Cox could have a runner for the Haskell, too, but doesn’t yet know how his 3-year-olds will shake out. He does plan to run two colts, Just a Touch and Dragoon Guard, in coming weeks, but as of Wednesday wasn’t certain which horse would go to the Iowa Derby, which to the Indiana Derby.

Yeah I'm starting to think that will be the case. Plus last year they kept saying Teena Ella was coming back but she wasn't, she was already retired and at their farm.

Emery won for the fourth time in five tries and third in as many races this year. She was coming off a demonstrative victory in the Leslie’s Lady Stakes at Churchill Downs on June 9. All four of her wins have come with Gaffalione aboard.

Wasn't Flute one of Bobby Frankel's favorites? I remember him saying something like he could put a leash on her and lead her around like a puppy.

Yes, she was a very sweet girl.

https://www.nytimes.com/2001/08/18/spor ... flute.html (article about her from 2001)
''Besides being a great racehorse, she's so sweet to be around,'' Frankel said. ''I mean, you just walk up to her and she nuzzles right in your shoulder, and you pet her all day and she'll lick you all day. You can go up to her and she'll play with you all day long, you know. She just loves company, and anybody that's ever been around that comes around her, they end up falling in love with her.''

Arrogate has another good one in Dragoon Guard. Like others here, I'm a big fan of his pedigree. Arrogate and Flute, yes; but let's not forget the underrated Mizzen Mast.

And mom Filimbi, who was multiple G1 placed against mares like Tepin, Dayatthespa, and Ball Dancing.
