I looked at the Bloodhorse leading 1st crop for NA sires and they have a stallion with a winner that is NOT a 1st crop sire(Qafeef). His winner was a 3yo....somehow this happens every year with some random unknown stallion.

Arizona Blaze is now his sire’s first GSW. He won the Marble Hill S (G3) at the Curragh today.

I feel like I need to go back to Claiborne ASAP so I can hopefully see and photograph him outside of his stall (like in his paddock) before he possibly gets sold even further away. He is a huge favorite.

While they arent above selling off stallions, Claiborne does give their guys a longer time than one crop before moving them on.

Mark Casse said on Steve Byk’s show a few weeks ago that Gary Barber was going all in on War Of Will progeny and that the two year olds looked extremely promising. I wouldnt give up hope yet.
