The dams are only half sisters if they share the same mother. If they share the same father, no one will refer to them as siblings. You could say they were bred on the same cross.

Bullet Train and Frankel are 3/4 brothers because they share the same dam and their sires are father & son.

If you look at the pedigrees of Paynter and Oxbow, although they share the same sire and their dams are full sisters, they're not called brothers.

They could be called full siblings / brothers in blood, though.

Same cross as her daughter Sophisticat. Was hoping for perhaps Tapit, Malibu Moon or MDO again.- and from the never-will-happen files- Lonhro, Americian, or cross the border for Musketier(GER)- one can dream.

Lonhro would've surprised me less than Stormy Atlantic, truthfully. He is a useful sire, but I wouldn't have selected him for what will very probably be her last foal. I might've even gone for Tale of the Cat over him, if they wanted a Storm Cat son. Spark Candle is her only offspring from the A.P. Indy sireline, so I would've liked to see her try Tapit or Malibu Moon, too. Heck, even Bernardini, even though he's hit a skid. Too bad she can't go to Giant's Causeway.

Also, why not Smart Strike, War Front or Distorted Humor?

DH would have been nice, also. I was dying for her to go to Dynaformer when he was around, would have loved to have seen that.

Her sister (Serena's Sister) went to Stormy Atlantic twice- produced Shabaab (13 3-3-0- $125,832) and Mighty Thor (21 1-2-4 $44,235). Mighty Thor was one of the horses that was rescued with that whole Paragallo thing.
