Yes poor Frankie got them mixed up -Imagination finished well back after running in third/ fourth early.brunanas wrote: ↑Sat Jun 08, 2024 3:32 pmi think he mixed up Imagination and Nutella Fella. he was mentioning Prince of Monaco and then said Imagination was closing in but it was Nutella Fella. where did Imagination actually finish?Tessablue wrote: ↑Sat Jun 08, 2024 3:31 pm Well that was a weird race. The track isn't THAT speed-favoring, guys! Huge effort by Book'em Danno, especially coming back from that tough race abroad.
Nash had no chance after that start, think the jockey lost his stirrups? Can't believe Nutella Fella got up for third. Sounded like the announcer got Imagination and Prince of Monaco mixed up in the stretch.

I kept looking for the Wesley Ward runner in the 5 1/2-furlong Jaipur on the turf, but there isn't one. What happened, lol?

our old friend Danni just got her account back after being suspended for hate tweets and the first thing she does is tweet she hopes the Repole horses break down during the festival. sometimes i wonder how the hell did she last so long in this forum before the permanent ban.

the tweets in case anyone wants to report them. last time Twitter said she'd potentially lose her account if the behavior continued, so....

IIRC, that poster was giving us fairly 'normal' stuff but, after a couple of days of that, the posts would start adding offensive stuff. Deliberately tried to sneak in the bad stuff mixed in with the ordinary. May have kept the moderator thinking that maybe the poster had learned to rein it in....but that didn't happen. I'm grateful that Kurenai finally got fed up.
Is there really any hope that Twitter would ban them since it has become the Wild West X?

well i think there's a chance. i wasn't really confident they'd even suspend her to begin with but i reported like 15+ tweets and all of them came back as actual violations of the rules, the report stated she had to delete all of them so she could use her account again and if the behavior continued they'd take stronger measures. and it did continue... literally on the same day she got her account back. she's gonna keep creating accounts, it's just a matter of finding them (aka... just find a poster who is constantly wishing horses die and has the literacy of a 5 year old) and mass reporting it's insane she doesn't ever stop. like i used to think she was just a troll but i have since come to the conclusion she has some type of severe mental issue.BaroqueAgain1 wrote: ↑Sat Jun 08, 2024 3:58 pm IIRC, that poster was giving us fairly 'normal' stuff but, after a couple of days of that, the posts would start adding offensive stuff. I am not familiar with this nasty wretch, but she sounds severely mentally unstable!!brunanas wrote: ↑Sat Jun 08, 2024 4:05 pmwell i think there's a chance. i wasn't really confident they'd even suspend her to begin with but i reported like 15+ tweets and all of them came back as actual violations of the rules, the report stated she had to delete all of them so she could use her account again and if the behavior continued they'd take stronger measures. and it did continue... literally on the same day she got her account back. she's gonna keep creating accounts, it's just a matter of finding them (aka... just find a poster who is constantly wishing horses die and has the literacy of a 5 year old) and mass reporting it's insane she doesn't ever stop. like i used to think she was just a troll but i have since come to the conclusion she has some type of severe mental issue.BaroqueAgain1 wrote: ↑Sat Jun 08, 2024 3:58 pm IIRC, that poster was giving us fairly 'normal' stuff but, after a couple of days of that, the posts would start adding offensive stuff. Dang, I really thought National Treasure was going to fold when Hoist The Gold hounded him but I guess not. What a win!

National Treasure stomps the competition in the Met Mile. Too fast to catch, and wins by opening lengths.

And we already know where he'll be standing, Tom Ryan just mentioned it in the post race interviewBaroqueAgain1 wrote: ↑Sat Jun 08, 2024 4:59 pm National Treasure stomps the competition in the Met Mile. Too fast to catch, and wins by opening lengths.

Who was going to close in that race? After White Abarrio didn't show up, National Treasure was the only good horse left in the field. Not like Hoist the Gold finished a clear second, they all just sort of clunked home together behind.
Is the track a bit speed-favoring? Probably, yeah, but that's Saratoga for you. If it was a true conveyor belt, nobody would be debating it.
