She does qualify! I track any mares with 2+ G1Ws or 3+ total GSWs. She's definitely earned her place on that list

Plus, her G1 winners are also classic winners (French 2000 and English 1000 Guineas).

Yes, she's in my 'Dams of Two or More Classic Winners' list. Such fun to see modern mares doing stuff like this.

Just imagine what will happen if Dornoch wins the Derby. Puca will go up into an all-elites category for sure! :D

In Clover’s 3yo filly Friendly Soul (Kingman) won the Pretty Polly over the weekend, which brings the mare to a total of 7 SWs. Has she produced any foals since this filly? She’s 22.

She's a 2002 model, so maybe not active anymore, but In Clover's youngest foal to race, Friendly Soul (2021 filly by Kingman) won the Listed Pretty Polly Stakes over 1m2f at Newmarket last weekend.

In Clover has produced:
G1 winners We Are, With You, Call the Wind
Listed winners In Crowd, Dream Clover, Incahoots, and now Friendly Soul.

Incahoots is the dam of last year's Prix De La Foret winner Kelina.

Random sidenote, I've always just loved how the two names of We Are and With You run together. We Are With You. Idk if George Strawbridge had any intentions behind that, but I love it.

Reem Three is a candidate. She has produced two G1 winners herself (Ajman Princess and Triple Time) as well as five other black type winners. Today her grandsons Rosallion won the Irish 2000 Guineas (G1) and Inisherin won the Sandy Lane S (G2). Reem Three is currently IFT Frankel.

Did Puca make this list? After Dornoch's Belmont win, imho she belongs here.

Tough I'd like to see her go to other stallions and how they do first before making judgment. She looks good now yes but like I said I'd like to see foals from other stallions first.

Puca's first foal is by Gun Runner, and she herself is a 3x winner and twice stakes placed, so that's a good sign.

I kind of wish they'd send her to the old champion Tapit. He is for sure not getting any younger and he deserves some more good mares in his last years at stud.

I was also looking forward to her having a foal by the new Olympiad, but she didn't take so they sent her to Good Magic again. Hopefully they get a filly in 2025.

Would love to see her visit Medaglia d'Oro

I'd also like to see her go to Constitution or one of the tc winners (Justify is more popular so his chance is higher). I wonder how her success will affect Big Brown as a broodmare sire. Like will it boost his popularity or the popularity of his daughters.

KatieK asked Stewart about Puca going to Frankel and he said she'd go to Good Magic next year and will go to him until they get a filly then she is going to Frankel. So that means another colt next year. Doesn't mean he couldn't change his mind but those were the plans now. Hopefully she isn't one of those mares that has 10 colts in a row but it happens sometimes...like Catch The Moon cause I'd really like to see her go to other stallions as well.

Looks like Close Hatches is on her way to becoming a great broodmare. Dam of Tacitus, Batten Down recently won the Ohio Derby and daughter Scylla won the Fleur de Lis today. Funny thing is they’re all by Tapit

She won the G2 Prix Alec Head today at Deauville. Wonder what's next for her. 12f Vermeille on Arc Preview day? Wait for 10f on Arc day for the Prix De L'Opera? 12f for the Filly and Mare race on Champion's Day?

That could unfortunately be seen as an asterisk of sorts. Her foals by other stallions are so far unraced but she has two in the pipeline by Uncle Mo and Gun Runner.

Close Hatches' 2022 filly by Constitution, Resurge, is still unraced and I'm not sure if she's posted a workout yet.
