Auguste Rodin returns in the Tattersalls Gold Cup (G1) Sunday at the Curragh. If he follows his previous pattern, he'll win.

In a thriller, Rosallion beat his stablemate Haatem by a nose. Richard Hanson trains both.

River Tiber was third and BC Juvenile Turf winner Unquestionable was fourth. It was his first start since that race.

White Birch comfortably wins the Tattersalls Gold Cup over Auguste Rodin.

The going looked pretty attritional, but at least Auguste Rodin ran some kind of race. I hope they don’t retire him, but this campaign has definitely not been going according to plan. This race was supposed to be a slam dunk for AR, as it is widely regarded as one of the weakest G1s in Europe.

White Birch was a good-looking winner, even if this G1 had been a G2 quality.

AOB was 0 for 3 in the G1s at the Curragh this weekend. It will be interesting to see how his horses do in the Epsom Derby and Oaks this week.

Fallen Angel won the Irish 1000 Guineas (G1), bouncing back from an unplaced finish in the 1000 Guineas. Her trainer, Karl Burke, also won the German 1000 Guineas (G2) with Darnation. Both are by Too Darn Hot. Blue Point also got a first-crop classic winner with Rosallion in the Irish 2000 Guineas yesterday, so it was a nice weekend for Darley’s young stallions.

Yeah it's been a bit of a disappointment. I would hope they would at least try him on dirt before pulling the plug.

Do you think City of Troy has any chance tomorrow? I will be surprised if he wins; Justify’s excellent crop of 2yos last year don’t seem to have trained on very well. Maybe they’ll do better in the summer.

Its not the strongest Epsom Derby i was reading what 2 top class jockeys had to say and they cant see him winning
