I've found it easier to tear up tickets at 8/1 instead of 8/5.

I thought Cornishman would make Mindframe work for it today. Mindframe might be the real deal.

I put $2 to win on Endlessly, T O Password, and Stronghold.

Mom bet Forever Young and Honor Marie.

Don't jinx it!

That being said, last night ... TikTok randomly showed me TWO videos with the song Forever Young playing randomly and I haven't heard that song in forever  is it a sign?

Dominating win by the regally-bred Scylla in the 1st.

I'm going down to Santa Anita and I probably should put my bets in before I have a couple of Makers' Marks. (Not really a fan of mint juleps but Bourbon is a must on the day.) Probably put a couple of bucks on Forever Young and Stronghold (California loyalist here) and who knows who else.
I ran marathons. I saw the Taj Mahal by Moonlight. I drove Highway 1 in a convertible. I petted Zenyatta.

Long day, the last goes at a dusky 6:45pm, enjoy!

p.s. Don't they have any Woodford Reserve?😉

TBH I forget which one they feature! I'm not picky about Bourbon but I do have firm views on Scotch!

Sometimes when I see Mike Repole interact with Todd Pletcher I think they're about to kiss.

Hoping the weather stays good but they are expecting thunderstorms a bit before post time.

I needed Nash or Vlahos, so that was a bit painful  Good effort by Seize the Grey, obviously he ran in the correct race!

We met Larry Demeritte today with my mom. He gave us some West Saratoga items, I will cherish them forever. He recognised my cancer ribbon I wear always. He told me he knows cancer very well too. :( We had a little chat that ended up with me crying because of how down-to-earth and kind this man is. If there is a greater power, let this man have a Derby win. I cannot think of anyone more deserving.

What a beautiful post and experience. I feel the same- even a top 5 finish would be great.

I think Fierceness will still win, but honestly it will be more fun if a horse that isnt Fierceness or Sierra Leone wins.
