Yep, and I really prefer big races run over fast tracks…but what can you do?CoronadosQuest wrote: ↑Fri May 03, 2024 10:53 amI know. I am always bummed when the Oaks/Derby comes up sloppy. To me it just doesn't have the same excitement as it would if it was a dry track.

Move the Derby to Santa Anita and save California racing, a win-win solutionSlewfan2 wrote: ↑Fri May 03, 2024 11:45 amYep, and I really prefer big races run over fast tracks…but what can you do?CoronadosQuest wrote: ↑Fri May 03, 2024 10:53 amI know. I've found it easier to tear up tickets at 8/1 instead of 8/5.

Don't be too sure, Stark. The forecast I'm seeing is calling for 60% chance of some showers here tomorrow afternoon/evening. Probably won't be enough to sloppy up the track, but still! It's early May, for Pete's sake!stark wrote: ↑Fri May 03, 2024 1:26 pmMove the Derby to Santa Anita and save California racing, a win-win solutionSlewfan2 wrote: ↑Fri May 03, 2024 11:45 amYep, and I really prefer big races run over fast tracks…but what can you do?CoronadosQuest wrote: ↑Fri May 03, 2024 10:53 am

This video that World Horse Racing has for Forever Young is nice. They should do that for more horses in the Derby I especially think the stride length part is cool. 24.14 ft stride for Forever Young

I don't know what those arrows mean though, it doesn't really LOOK muddy but my little xpressbet window is tiny since PeacockTV lied to me by saying their coverage was starting and then they took it back (but now its starting again so I dunno if they actually know).
