Japanese Racings don't offer "triple--trifecta--wager".
We can only bet trifectas on each race.

It sounds like she is okay, while Shinryokuka, the other filly who fell in the same race, is said to have small fractures.

Shinryokuka's jockey Kowata Takuya had a bone broken in his right hand.
We are still waiting for further information about Light Quantum's jockey Hayato Yoshida who is said to have had a head injury.
That’s a terrible year...Palace Malice wrote: ↑Wed Apr 24, 2024 9:53 pmLot of falls this yeartachyon wrote: ↑Wed Apr 24, 2024 6:43 amThe daughter of Deep Impact was just sent to the farm.

I agree with you, BaroqueAgain!!BaroqueAgain1 wrote: ↑Wed Apr 24, 2024 10:44 pm That Twitter link Tachyon posted shows two loose horses running all the way down the long stretch...and not an outrider in sight.
I appreciate Japanese racing, and imho they do a LOT right, but.....
....I cannot count the number of times when watching Japanese races that I have seen loose horses left alone to run and run and run. I once watched a loose horse run at least six full laps of the track, mostly at a dead run, before he finally was so tired enough that someone on foot was able to take his reins.
Run and run until they're exhausted, or put a leg through dangling reins, maybe run through a fence, or finally break a leg? Why are horses left loose...to injure themselves or even die?...just because there is NO ONE out there on horseback to catch an at-risk horse?
I don't understand why Japanese tracks use NO outriders. Why tracks with so many nice facilities can not bother to hire experienced outriders and capable ponies to catch loose horses. Letting a loose horse go and go without making ANY attempt to keep it from injuring itself is just....kind of callous. It makes Japanese racing look like it doesn't actually concern itself with preventing on-track injuries.
