A 15k purchase who made 800k and always tried... every owner would love to have one like him.

"The ten-time Group 1 winner Imperatriz has been retired in preparation to begin life as a broodmare later this year."

I was lucky enough to watch some of this stellar mare's races. She had such a tremendous kick in the stretch.
The daughter of Chapel Royal (Montbrook) has Devil His Due as a damsire, which is cool. I will be interested in who her owners send her to.

She will probably be sold at auction, as she was raced by a syndicate like most of Te Akau Racing stable horses like Melody Belle and Avantage to name a few.She could be auctioned off at Inglis, Magic Millions,NZ Bloodstock or even the online auction site Gavelhouse.BaroqueAgain1 wrote: ↑Fri Apr 12, 2024 3:25 pm "The ten-time Group 1 winner Imperatriz has been retired in preparation to begin life as a broodmare later this year."

Holy f*ck, the shocker from that is that they actually say that Triple Tap, Theprinceofthebes and Seventh Son are all geldings. And it also means Seventh Son is retired, I don't think he ever even had a workout.stelladaniella wrote: ↑Sun Apr 21, 2024 6:46 pm Olivier

The article lists Olivier, Seventh Son and Theprinceofthebes as members of that "very elite group of geldings," but does not mention Triple Tap in that list. Maybe he's still intact.
