Seems like he could be a great mentor to some younger trainers at Tampa- hope he gets that opportunityHB1994 wrote: ↑Mon Apr 08, 2024 4:53 pm Trainer Tom Albertrani has retired. He always seemed like one of the good guys to me.

The dispute revolves around a sale of multiple graded stakes winner Daddys Lil Darling . According to oral arguments held April 11 and briefs filed by attorneys, following the death of Normandy Farm's Nancy Polk, who campaigned Daddys Lil Darling using trainer Ken McPeek's services, Polk's daughters immediately arranged for the filly to be sold at the 2018 Fasig-Tipton Kentucky Fall Mixed Sale. After Coolmore's M.V. Magnier purchased Daddys Lil Darling for $3.5 million, McPeek sent an invoice for $175,000, or 5% of the sale price, for developing Daddys Lil Darling while in his care. Polk's heirs rejected the invoice.
It's extremely sad, especially coming on the heels of the death of Cherchi.Northport wrote: ↑Thu Apr 11, 2024 12:49 pm Kota Fujioka, age 35, has died after suffering severe injuries in a mid-race fall at Hanshin April 6, the Japan Racing Association has announced. Yeah, McPeek wasnt directly involved in the sale, but the horse wouldnt have been worth $3.5million if he hadnt train her to stakes winning performances. It’s a shitty move by the Polk heirs. The amount of trainers/grooms/horse related staff that get stiffed by clients who simply refuse to pay bills they deem unacceptable is mind boggling. It happens at our farm at least once a year.Starine wrote: ↑Thu Apr 11, 2024 7:14 pm Trainer Fee When Horse Sold Argued in KY Supreme Court

What a legend. His association with Goldikova has got to be the highlight.HB1994 wrote: ↑Tue Apr 23, 2024 1:04 pm Outstanding international rider Olivier Peslier is retiring.

I think £30 a month for their basic package is ridiculous.Northport wrote: ↑Tue Apr 23, 2024 1:23 pmWhat a legend. His association with Goldikova has got to be the highlight.HB1994 wrote: ↑Tue Apr 23, 2024 1:04 pm Outstanding international rider Olivier Peslier is retiring.

Also, I feel like the ever encroaching Racing Post paywall now covers 98% of their content. Putting a retirement announcement behind a paywall is next level. I’m going to have to subscribe… eventually.
