Reach the Crown(JPN), 2006H. Special Week(JPN) x Crownpiece(JPN) by Seattle Slew(USA), died of pulmonary edema at Arrow Stud where he had been standing on March 29th 2024.
That's very sad news for those of us who sincerely follow Sunday Silence and his descendants.
May he rest in peace.

And Crown Pride(JPN), 2022 UAE Derby winner, is virtually the last hope.
If he fails to become a stallion, the Special Week-line will have to go extinct.

They sell all their homebreds, so these youngsters will probably go to 2yo in training sales later in the year. What a thrilling finish!!
I really thought Horizon Dore did it, but it was Mqse De Sevigne who finished 1st after the photo.
It sounds like the son of Dabirsim will be headed to Royal Ascot next, either in the Prince of Wales's Stakes or in the Eclipse Stakes.
I hope that he will capture his first G1 title over there!!!
He is an exciting horse.
