Lynx was 3rd in a MSW at GP today (R7), beaten only 1 1/4 lengths. Was closing late but ran outta time.
Slip By was a tired 11th in the same race.

Moulin de Mougin won an Allowance yesterday at SA (race 6) by 1 1/4 lengths. I think the added distance helps her.

Curlin is now a grandpa. His daughter, Astruggleforbeauty, whose dam is 1/2 to Distorted Humor, foaled a Revolving filly this year. Revolving is 1/2 to Circular Quay and new to stud. Gosh, it feels like yesterday when Curlin was winning the Arkansas Derby by a country mile. Time flies.

Wow, already?? Your right, it sure does fly. Its hard to believe that he is 10!
I'm also trying to get used to Palace Malice being a four year old. I'm ready for his debut in the Gulfstream Park Handicap on 3/8.

Top Billing (o/o Parade Queen) finished 3rd, beaten 2 lengths, in the G2 Fountain of Youth. Made a great move on the turn but didn't have enough to catch the two leaders.

I thought Top Billing ran well in the FOY, though I have heard his gallop out wasn't great. I think the speed bias really hurt him.
I was also wondering about Stopshoppingdebbie who was Emerald Downs undefeated top 3yo filly who I haven't heard from in a while, but it looks like she is back in training at Emerald downs. Looking forward to her 4yo debut. Emerald Downs meet doesn't start until April 12.

Palace Malice took the GP Handicap in a gritty win. A great way to come back for his 4yr old campaign
Diversy Harbor won the China Doll Stakes in impressive style against a tough field at SA
Please Explain ran a troubled 3rd in the Honeybee to lose by only 1 length. There was a lot of bumping in that stretch. She was closing when her hole closed then the DQ'd winner ran in front of her.

Ride On Curlin finished 3rd, beaten only 1 length, in the Rebel. He's finished 3rd in the last 4 stakes attempts, hopefully they bring him back for the AK Derby.

I thought ROC ran really well in the Rebel. I honestly didn't think he wouldn't get the distance, and still think he may be more of a miler, but I am sure he will get another shot at a derby prep. He is talented.
I saw where a 2yr old My Curby (c. o/o G3 winner My Baby Baby) has posted his first work.
3f. In 36.40 at Keenland (2/21)
I only have names for about 3 or 4 2yr olds. Does anyone know of who all went to Curlin in 2012, or any 2012 foal names?

Thank you! I think there were more on the old forum but we lost them and I didn't keep them anywhere. I have no idea where to look for that info.ChampionCurlin wrote:A few of the more recently named '12 crop:Barbaro06 wrote:I only have names for about 3 or 4 2yr olds. Try looking up under "progeny" on Pedigreequery.com. Even if maybe not all the info is accurate, the odds are that most is.Barbaro06 wrote:I thought ROC ran really well in the Rebel. Building on that, if you want to confirm that PQ info is correct, you can check the BC Noms site. Enter the name of the Dam and the year foaled and if the foal has been named, it'll show.Catalina wrote:Try looking up under "progeny" on Pedigreequery.com.
