Susan the Gentle f. Frankel - Sharp Susan

"Susan the Gentle" is the title given to Susan Pevensie in the Chronicles of Narnia. The second dam is Winter's Gone.

It just occurred to me that Gold Double is named that because his dam is Fiftyshadesofgold and his sire's name, Medaglia d'Oro, translates to "gold medal" or "medal of gold" in Italian.

So, double gold, or Gold Double. His damsire is My Golden Song, so maybe he should've been named Gold Triple, lol.

I properly elegant and regal name for a horse owned by the Emir of Qatar.

Pledgeofallegiance, 4yo g (Sea The Stars - Vow, Motivator) There are horses with the same name in the US(by Constitution) and Australia(by Starspangledbanner) and those are good tie ins with their sires. But the Irish bred wins for me for using both the sire and dam's name cleverly. He won the Ascot Stakes on Tuesday at Royal Ascot.

I was thrown for a loop with the dams name being Vow. Mrh ran a filly named Vow. I owned a share in her. Vow that I owned thru mrh was my fourth horse I bought a share in through them. Her sire is union rags. She's been claimed a couple times since then and runs at Canterbury now
