not racing/TB related but QH breeder Katie Van Slyke reported that one of her mares just foaled 286 days into the pregnancy. the foal is standing, feeding and INTERACTING. all tests came back good. doesn't mean the foal will make it longterm, but just being born alive and then being seemingly well is already a huge miracle.

Just stumbled across a live stream on Youtube from Japan of Scarlet Tale(Harbinger - Daiwa Legend, by King Kamehameha). Daiwa Legend is out of MG1 Daiwa Scarlet. They said she is going to foal today, she is in foal to Gold Ship.

it has been 24 hours and baby is still doing fine. she said they're taking it 12 hours at a time but for now all seems good with him. he has been named Seven.
